I have really gotten behind on posting my memory verses. It has been a hectic time for summer. We spent 10 days camping and I spent a week at a conference. We also did a lot of wedding things. I have still been working on my memory verses, I just haven't posted them.
June 1
I finished out the Beatitudes for this date:
Matthew 5: 10-12
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
June 15
As I was looking for a verse to memorize this time, I came across this verse. It is a common verse, like the Beatitudes but it is something that I need to remember as I spend my summer getting ready for next year.
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
