We will never experience peace until we accept the authority of Christ in our lives. He is the Prince of Peace. In our culture that values so much personal freedom we have a hard time understanding that true freedom and peace come from submitting to the authority of the Prince of Peace. James 4: 7-8.
Oh, Lord and Master, teach me everyday to submit to your authority. Fill my life with your peace.
